Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Program

The Malcolm Baldrige Award, established by Congress and signed into law by President Reagan in 1987, is now in its 18^th year.  The Award Criteria have evolved to become a national standard, providing a common language and framework any organization can use to achieve superior competitiveness.  Dr. Harry Hertz, Director of the Baldrige National Quality Program, describes the Baldrige Criteria as representing the "leading edge of validated management practices". 

  Kenneth Leach heads up our Baldrige Practice area. Ken's background is unsurpassed with regard to assessment of companies vs. the Baldrige criteria and guiding them to significant improvements as a result of most effectively utilizing the Baldrige criteria. Besides guiding his own company, Globe Metallurgical to winning one of the inaugural Baldrige awards in 1988, he has guided a total of 14 additional Baldrige winners, accounting for over 30% of the total winners to date.
